Slow, conscious eating promotes enjoyment and a feeling of satiety.
The feeling of fullness only occurs about 15 to 20 minutes after the start of the meal. If you eat too quickly, you cannot even notice that you may have already eaten enough.
Slow, conscious eating and thorough chewing can promote the enjoyment, relax and help regulate body weight.
Tips
Check your supplies. Buy only what you need with a shopping list. Recycle leftovers or freeze them.
Sustainability
Being careful with food includes not throwing it away. Food waste not only damages your wallet, it also wastes valuable resources that were needed for cultivation, processing, packaging and transport.
Food that has passed its best before date (BBD) does not have to be thrown straight away. Use your senses to check whether the food still looks, smells and tastes good. The use-by date, e.g. B. with minced meat, however, is to be understood as a throw-away date. Once this has expired, the product should no longer be used.
